June 21-28: Movie The Woman in the Fifth by P. Pawlikowski at the SIFF Uptown Cinema

Joanna & Ethan

SIFF Cinema presents a movie The Woman in the Fifth by Pawel Pawlikowski and starring Kristin Scott Thomas and Ethan Hawke, with cinematography by Ryszard Lenczewski. Pawlikowski is a Polish born director, the cast includes Joanna Kulig and there are multiple Polish cultural references in the film. I got a positive buzz about this psychological thriller set in Paris where it's hard to be sure what's real and what's not.
